PutzeSchwanzGesicht is not a word!

Guten TAG, Mein Herr. Ich bin Guenter von Weisswurst, und I have somezing zat I must zay to you. It has come to my attention zat zis fool Hank zeems to zink zat zis wort, "PutzeSchwanzGesicht" zat his friends made up in hauptschule is a real wort, und very funny. Vell, I have zis to say to you. PutzeSchwanzGesicht is NICHT EINEM WORT, you fool! Zis is ze CRRRRAP! Seine friends are vat you call ze KnuckleKnopff. Zis wort is a mockery of ze grrrreat German languaue. You sprecht scheiis ven you say zis wort. Any self respecting German Speaker vill make ze scorn on you ven you say zis wort to zem. If zey have ze self-contrrrol zey vill not take ze swing at you. You should never zay zis wort again, ever! Verstehen zie?!? VERSTEHEN ZIE?!?

Take "Ze Ski" Seriously!

JA Den, Klienes! Ich bin Guenter von Wiesswurst, und I am ze grrrreatest skiier in Baden Wissenschliffegekeit on the Austro-Hungarin border. Our zuper-fantastiche Mountain, the "Zugschwanzpimmel" is a vell kept secret zat is rarely discussed vis ze auslander. I have made ze ski on zis mountain fur my whole life. Vee here in Wissenschliffesgekeit take ze ski very seriously. Fur us, ze highest form of ze ski is ze perrrfectly forrrmed stem-christie turn. Vee make zees turns in ze frrresh und in ze packed snow conditions. Years are spent by each Mensch und Frau to perrfect ze stem-christie turn, in ze hope zat zey vill be zeen as being masters of ze ski.

In America, zer is no respect for ze ski. Here, zey make no regarrrrd for ze stem-christie turn. Zis fool, Hank, und ich skiied at ze resort called Purgatory. Zis fool Hank vas making his fast quick turns, with no regarrrds for ze proper stem-christie form. Zis fool kept saying he vas going to find, "Ze Big Air" on ze runs through ze trees. "Ze Big Air", GOT IN HIMMEL! Ze Ski is not about ze big air! Ze SKI is about ze corrrrect form, and ze punctual turn interrrrvals!! He mocks ze ski, und zerfore zis fool vill never be velcomen in Wissenschliffesgekeit. Tchuss!

Pontiac Aztek's friggin' rule! - by Lance

Hola Sucka's! That's right, it's your old boy, Lance back to clear a couple of things up. First off, it has come to my attention that some out there don't think that I am, in fact, real. These people think I am some kind of figment of Hank's imagination, based loosely on that mad genius, Jim Anchower. Well guess what fools, Lance and the Honcho are as realer than the Real-Deal Holifield, you know what I'm saying?!?
And while I'm at it, that Anchower is just some punk-assed burn out, man. Not a class act like yours truly. Please, the fool drives a Festiva for crissakes. The Honcho would ROLL OVER that piece, man! No dude that calls himself a dude can drive some sucker-assed tincan like that, man! HA! Like today coming in to the shop, I saw this dude driving a "newer used" Pontiac Aztek, man. I was like, "Woah sucker - be careful driving all that *EXCITEMENT*, man! Pull over! Pull Over!" Unfortunatly, the dude was obviously blinded by all the cladding on that thing, and unable to properly "Feel the Excitment" the obviously radiated from his funky-assed Aztek. See ,that's what I'm saying, man. Some dudes just don't get it, man. Driving one of these things is like wearing an "MC Hammer" T-shirt and Flava-Flav clock around, man. Serious signs of being seriously misguided, man. I think the Dali Lama said that.

Pig Roast!

A friend of ours went hunting last week and came back with 3 feral pigs from Texas. He was kind enough to throw one on the spit at a ranch just a few miles down the valley from our house. The pig was certainly tasty!

He sent out the following picture, and it just had to go up here.

Keytar!

It is apparent by the breaking out of the Keytar that these guys came to rock!

Phish set to ROCK - Life to be good again.

I hope they kick some ass this weekend. Check the following quote from today's NYT articel here:

"Late last year the four band members came together, by themselves, to make music in Mr. Anastasio’s Burlington barn and studio. They liked what they heard. And they resolved to be the version of Phish they prized most: the intently practiced, well-prepared Phish from the mid-90s. They started their Vermont rehearsals not with their countryish three-chord songs but with their intricate, suitelike songs that verge on progressive rock, like “Split Open and Melt” and “Foam.” Although Phish has recorded demo versions of 20 songs for its next album, only one is likely to be heard this weekend: “Backwards Down the Number Line,” a fond birthday song that asks, “Do you know why we’re still friends?” "

Shiraz Wine Tasting and Good Time Friends Gathering

A bunch of good friends came up Saturday night for a late winter wine tasting. It turns out hat our neighbors 2-year-old has an excellent taste in red wine, as seen here.

Here's a pretty good shot of the fellas from work (Brent, Dan & Clayton) sampling some of the excellent food & beverage that was on hand.

The first full strength test of the new living room went off without a hitch.
Both myself and the two year old we're enthralled by the excellent sound quality and high resolution majesty of Pink Floyd's "Pulse" DVD.
